They founded their own estate in 1973. At the time, they grew 2 hectares of vineyard, a precious family inheritance.<br \/>\nSince the 1970s, the surface area of the vineyard, the rock-hewn cellar and the technical facilities have gradually been expanded and improved.<\/p>\n<p>In 2000 their son <strong>Cyril<\/strong>, enriched by experiences in the Champagne and Anjou vineyards, joined the estate to assist his father, while bringing his personal touch to the development of the vineyard and to the wine production.<br \/>\nAt the end of 2013 <strong>Catherine<\/strong>, Cyril&#8217;s sister, also decided to continue the family history by joining the company after 10 years spent working on the left bank of the Loire alongside Jacky Blot (Domaine de la Taille aux Loups), then in the group of winegrowers &#8216;Bouquet de Loire&#8217;.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=&#8221;&#8221; background_type=&#8221;image&#8221; background_color=&#8221;custom&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; background_size=&#8221;default&#8221; background_img_lazyload=&#8221;1&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; el_class=&#8221;painted2-top&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1574259719763{padding-top: 150px !important;padding-bottom: 50px !important;}&#8221; background_custom_color=&#8221;#373737&#8243;][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4176&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; full_width=&#8221;1&#8243; alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; opacity=&#8221;100&#8243; animated_svg=&#8221;1&#8243; hide_class=&#8221;wvc-hide&#8221; max_width=&#8221;150&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1556548685777{margin-bottom: -100px !important;margin-left: 50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;AND SINCE 2014\u2026&#8221; font_size=&#8221;28&#8243; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; font_weight=&#8221;700&#8243; inline_style=&#8221;text-shadow: 1px 1px #000;&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Christiane<\/strong> and <strong>Alain Robert<\/strong> have decided to gradually step aside in favour of their two children. The 37 hectares of vines that make up the family estate are now grown using <strong>sustainable farming<\/strong>. The winery has its own <strong>cellar dug in the limestone<\/strong> (locally called &#8216;tuffeau&#8217;), where the sparkling wines are aged.
